Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my products sewn?

Vi&Jax clothing is proudly sewn in Calgary, Alberta. We would like to acknowledge that we reside on and create these garments by hand on Treaty 7 territory, the traditional homeland of the Blackfoot, Nakoda Stoney, and Tsuut’ina First Nations.

How fast will it sell out?

Be prepared to shop quickly during made to order nights! You can do so by creating an account ahead of time, planning your list of most desired items, and signing up for a one-click pay, such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal.

What fabric do you use?

We offer Bamboo Lycra, Bamboo French Terry, Brushed Bamboo French Terry, Ribbed Modal, Modal Lycra, and Double Sided Minky (Blankets, pillowcases and loveys.)

I am confused on your drop schedule. Can you explain?

We offer at least one made to order drop a month. This is on the 20th. Sometimes, we have a smaller drop on the 10th, as well.

Custom blankets are often offered.

How do I care for my items?

We recommended washing in cold and hanging to dry. You can also tumble dry on low. Although that is recommended, we take pride in our products being durable. A classic wash and dry cycle won’t do any harm.

There are variations in sizing and/or colours with some of my products. Why?

All of our clothing is cut and sewn by hand. Our products are not mass produced. Because of this, there can be slight variations in sizing. Despite our best efforts to keep each and every product consistent, there is small chance of variation due to them being sewn by hand. This is normal.

When it comes to colours, what you see on your screen can vary with what is printed. That is because everyone’s screen resolution, whether mobile or desktop, is different. We also love to print our fabric with extra saturation to ensure a bold, vibrant colour.

Pattern/print placement is done at random. We cut by hand to get the most out of our fabric. As a result, smaller sizes will see less print variation vs a larger size that has more space for more print.
